Jodi McDonald grew up in Kingston, Jamaica and is a past student of the Wolmer’s High School for girls and a graduate of the prestigious University of the West Indies. She worked for Scotiabank Jamaica for 11 years before deciding to migrate to Canada. She applied and was accepted to Parkland Regional College in Yorkton a small homely town in Saskatchewan. While studying at Parkland she motivated and assisted many persons from Jamaica to make the switch many of whom have since settled successfully and are making great strides in Canada.

She has assisted many persons in becoming permanent residents in Canada, through diverse channels such as the post graduate stream, provincial nominee programs, express entry and Canadian Experience class acting in a volunteer capacity in giving immigration assistance. She then earned her Immigration Consulting Diploma at Ashton College and after being accepted to ICCRC (Immigration Consultants of Canada Regulatory Council, founded the Savannah Canadian Immigration and Relocation Services.

Prior to this she worked with Partners in Settlement and Integration in Yorkton, Saskatchewan as a volunteer conversation café-moderator where she worked with new comers from many parts of the world including Iraq and Afghanistan to learn to speak conversational English in a non-judgemental environment. She then moved to Alberta where she went back to work with Scotiabank as Accounts Manager, Small Business. She worked with Alberta Treasury Branch as a Relationship Manager, Business and Agriculture for a short period and then moved to Ontario to go back to work for Scotiabank until she resigned to go into full-time Canadian Immigration consulting. She currently resides in Northern Alberta and Kingston, Jamaica and operates from both places.

Jodi possess a Bachelor's degree in language, communication and society and offers IELTS exam prep free of cost for her immigration clients.

Jodi is a member in good standing with Immigration Consultants of Canada Regulatory Council (ICCRC) and is a member of the Advisory Board for Canada Consult Portal.
